A Tribute to Elizabeth Taylor...

We were not only shocked but very sad to recieve the news that Elizabeth Taylor passed away earlier today.

Dubbed 'the last of the Hollywood greats', the much-loved actress's life had held the public imagination from the moment she first appeared on screen in 1942, not only for her beauty and glamour, but also for her turbulent personal life and tireless charity work.

In her 79 years she went through several marriages, billions of dollars of diamonds, gallons of eyeliner, hundreds of Dior couture commissions and fluctuations in look, but her style remained constant: unapologetically glamorous, a Hollywood star to the core.In the 50s she was voted the Most Beautiful Woman In the World and she holds the record for the most appearances on the cover of Life magazine: eleven in all.

Style Icon: Wallis Simpson

Love her or hate her, adore or revile her. No matter what you think of her, there is no denying that Wallis Simpson, the Duchess of Windsor was a true style icon.  She went everywhere, knew practically everyone who was anyone and wore all the best designers in the world.  She was a style setter for decades and continues to capture the imagination to this day.

We love her immaculate elegance and attention to detail.

A massive fan of a 50s and 60s vintage dress  Zooey always stays true to her individual quirky style and isn't afraid to make a statement.

Launch Party Invite

To celebrate opening our new store we are holding a launch party on 28th January from 6pm to 10pm.

Style Icon: Anna Karina

Anna Karina's rise to fame is very much a Cinderella story. 

Known today as the muse of Jean-Luc Godard, she moved to Paris without a penny to her name or knowing any French at the age of 17. She was approached by a rep from an ad agency while sitting at a cafe who asked if she would like to do some photos. 

This lead to a successful modeling career then later she appeared in movies.

Her French New Wave style, perfectly mussed hair, dramatic smokey eyeliner, and striking beauty make her the perfect vintage style icon...
